Diyas : Near @Devcon

ArQ and Abhiraj Mengade host Diyas: NEAR @Devcon in Mumbai on November 4, 2026, from 16:00 to 20:00 IST. The Diwali-themed gathering uses a team game to demonstrate NEAR cross-chain intents, with participants playing the roles of chains, swaps and confidential transactions.

Before arrival, NEAR AI uses each attendee's RSVP answers to create a physical persona card with a custom animated face and fragments of an intent. Participants find five other people and combine their fragments into a valid cross-chain instruction. The organizer's example is a confidential swap from NEAR to Solana.

The completed instruction goes to an Executor Booth, where an operator executes a US$1 to US$2 onchain micro-intent, with a testnet fallback, and prints the transaction hash. The group receives a Polaroid with the hash and a trusted execution environment (TEE) attestation on the back. That proof can be exchanged at the desk for Diwali merchandise offered as a game reward rather than for sale.

Attendees should complete the RSVP questionnaire and bring a phone and wallet handle. Solo participants can form groups at the door. Registration is free and requires host approval. The organizer describes a Mumbai workspace and rooftop setting; the public location listing identifies Mumbai without a specific street address.
