About the event

Web3Privacy Now hosts Ethereum Cypherpunk Congress #3 at Yashwantrao Chavan Centre in Nariman Point, Mumbai, on November 2, 2026, from 10:00 to 19:00 IST. Registration is free through Luma. The event brings together digital-rights advocates, free and open-source software contributors, cryptographers, developers, researchers, artists and legal practitioners. Its 2026 theme, The Ancestral Fork, examines inherited technological and social assumptions about privacy and digital autonomy, with participation from the Global South.

Topics and participation formats

The 2026 program themes cover open-source AI and shared AI resources; responses to internet censorship using tools such as mesh networks and cross-border digital currencies; community-led interactive experiences; and privacy and data-protection questions around Aadhaar, UPI and DigiLocker. Other themes address accessible privacy for inexpensive phones and nontechnical users, and sustainable funding for privacy technology and free software.

The speaker announcement also identifies confidential computation, encrypted mempools, secure messaging, privacy-preserving identity, self-hosted nodes, stealth-address wallets, Kohaku wallet privacy and alternatives to centralized collaboration software as areas of work represented at the event. These are subject areas, not a timed session schedule.

The registration page describes a track where privacy-hackathon developers discuss their experience and an activation track proposing demonstrations of Fileverse, Rotki, Fluidkey, Radicle and GnosisVPN.
