About the event

Hashed Emergent and Mugafi convene Future Asset Forum at Fairmont Mumbai on November 1 and 2, 2026, within India Blockchain Week. The invitation-only forum examines ownership and financing in sports, entertainment and media as AI changes production, localization and distribution. The page lists a 09:00 IST start and describes cross-registration with the Institutional Forum.

Working program

The organizers plan 18 sessions and have published twelve working titles across four parts:

  • Asset value: the financial limits of buying only successful titles; the different underwriting problems of franchises, catalogues and production slates; and the legal and commercial treatment of voice and likeness rights.
  • Ownership and financing: debt-based participation, institutional investment in US leagues and Indian franchises, and financial instruments that could support these assets in India.
  • Connecting the assets: a live look at disconnected fan datasets, the wider economics of a stadium event, and Indian law concerning provenance.
  • Production and demand: AI's effect on production budgets, the business of physical venues and live attendance, and prospective buyers of these assets in 2031.

The proposed discussion format asks each panelist to commit in writing to sharing one previously unpublished figure in the room, off the record. Speaker names are published after the organizers receive written confirmation.

Participation

Seats are allocated by participant category rather than sold as public tickets. The intended allocation is 40% rights holders and media operators, 20% AI and technology companies, 20% capital providers and family offices, 10% distribution and platforms, and 10% policy, legal and press participants. These are the organizers' allocation targets.

The planned participants include studio principals, franchise and league heads, catalogue owners, personality-rights lawyers, streaming and exhibition operators, venue and live-event businesses, ticketing and payments teams, fan-data platforms, AI companies, structured-finance specialists, insurers and institutional capital providers.

The forum page links applications for partners, sponsors and speakers. The stated process is an application followed by a 30-minute conversation about objectives and category fit, then a tailored proposal within a week. Partnership formats include keynote participation, panels or masterclasses, roundtables or workshops, and demonstrations on the partner floor; availability and pricing are by inquiry.
