About the event
The DeSci Community Hub runs at Devcon 8 from November 3 to 6, 2026, at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. It brings developers, researchers and people interested in Web3 and science together for interactive sessions, poster presentations and discussion. Beginners are welcome.
Four days of decentralized science
- November 3, Body: biotechnology, aging, rejuvenation and medicine.
- November 4, Mind: artificial intelligence, neuroscience and space technology.
- November 5, Heart: climate, conservation, biopreservation and biodiversity, alongside sustainability, climate technology and work toward climate-positive outcomes.
- November 6, Soul: community, governance, academic engagement and awareness.
Participants can apply through the contribution form linked on the organizer's page to show a project, propose a talk, host a workshop on one of the four days or volunteer on site. The published program describes themes and participation formats rather than individual session times. Luma lists the overall event window as 09:00 IST on November 3 through 18:00 on November 6.
DeSci World, DeSci LATAM, MesoReef DAO and DeSci Asia organize the hub, with support from ETHPanda and LXDAO. DeSci India represents the hub on site.
The hub's Luma RSVP is free, but it does not provide admission to Devcon. Attendees must separately obtain a valid Devcon ticket to enter the conference venue and take part.
