Launchnodes and GSR Foundation co-host The Yield Layer of Social Impact on November 4, 2026, from 10:00 to 16:00 IST at IFBE, 10-12 Calicut Road, Ballard Estate, Fort, Mumbai. The organizer describes it as a half-day Devcon side event for donors, foundations, impact organizations, onchain capital providers and the protocols supporting onchain yield.
The central discussion is how staking and stablecoin yield could support social and environmental work while donors retain their principal. Sessions will examine infrastructure already built, the sources of donor capital, applications being developed on top of that infrastructure and the next steps for adoption. The planned format combines fireside conversations with yield protocols, an impact keynote and panels involving donors, foundations and builders.
The discussion includes Launchnodes' Lido Impact Staking and its Aave-based Stablecoin for Impact. These products form Impactstake.com, which connects donor capital with vetted impact organizations. The organizer describes a model in which yield goes to those organizations while principal remains staked and withdrawable. A further question is how institutions outside crypto can use this infrastructure and measure the resulting impact.
