About the event
MONEY MAKER, hosted by namic, takes place at IFBE in Mumbai on November 6, 2026, from 13:00 IST until 01:00 on November 7. The event examines the history and design of money, how it is created, who controls it, why people trust it and how monetary systems influence economies, institutions and behavior.
The announced subjects include fiat currencies, central banking, monetary policy, stablecoins, incentive design, security, privacy and artificial intelligence. The speaker brief compares physical and digital money, centralized and decentralized systems, and the tradeoffs and unresolved problems of existing models.
The organizer invites original research, practical case studies, historical analysis, technical talks and proposals for alternative monetary models. These are requested contributions rather than a published list of confirmed sessions. Talks are followed by dinner, drinks and an after-party with live DJs and performers.
